LEISTON U23s are in home action again on Tuesday night when neighbours Framlingham Town visit in a Thurlow Nunn Division One North clash, 7.45pm kick-off.
Leiston sit 14th in the league table after a fine 3-2 victory over Haverhill Borough on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Reagan King (2) and Mackenzie Travis. Framlingham, meanwhile, are in second position, having won both of their league games so far. They have beaten Swaffham Town (6-0) and Holbeach United (2-1) both away from Badingham Road.
Framlingham have lost in the play-off semi-finals in the past three seasons at this level and just missed out on winning the league last season when they were pipped to promotion by Great Yarmouth Town. It is bound to be a good test for both sides, but Neil Smye's young Blues side will be buoyed by their win over Haverhill Borough.
