LEISTON will look to make it seven games unbeaten in all competitions as they host Alvechurch in the Southern League Central Premier Division tonight, at the Watson & Hillhouse Stadium, 7.45pm start.

The Blues missed the chance to go into the top half of the table on Saturday in their goalless draw with Bromsgrove Sporting. It was the Blues first goalless home draw since August 2023 when they played Needham Market. That was 23 games ago.

Meanwhile, the Blues have only played six league games at home this season, compared with eight away, having played six games in the FA Cup and one in the FA Trophy. While the Blues are unbeaten in six, Alvechurch have lost their last three league matches after their 3-5 defeat to Barwell on Saturday, leaving them 17th in the division.

Chris Wigger’s Blues remain 13th in the league, having taking 19 points from their 14 games.
