OVERVIEW
LEISTON head to Cambridgeshire on Saturday to face St Ives Town for the first time this campaign.
The Blues' win on Tuesday night against Alvechurch means it’s six games unbeaten in the league for Chris Wigger’s side. Fraser Alexander’s first goal for the club and Jamar Loza’s late strike was enough for Leiston, who are now 11th in the league standings. Loza took his total to 13 for the season with his goal.
St Ives Town, meanwhile are two places above Leiston in the table and, like Leiston, have 22 points from 15 league games but with a slightly higher goal difference. The club got a good win at Bedford Town last weekend in the league as they ran out 3-0 winners.
