LEISTON under-23s ended the year with defeat to Pinchbeck United at the Watson & Hillhouse Stadium.

Two quick goals from the Knights in the opening ten minutes from Luke Cullen and JJ Ward gave the visitors a good start.

But Leiston battled back well and Stanley Horne pulled one back after Oscar Manly's shot was blocked.

Ward put the visitors 1-3 up at the break and it was an even second period with Pinchbeck netting a fourth through Taylor Jaine with the final kick of the game.

The under-23s have ended 2024 now. Their next game is at Holbeach on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
