LEISTON have swooped to sign centre-back Kyran Clements.
The 27-year-old, who was at Victory Road back in 2019/20, is a welcome boost to the Blues' squad with the new season just a month away.
Director of football, Dave Williams said: "For the past five seasons Kyran has been playing Step 2 football for both Braintree Town and Bishop's Stortford and his experience, as well as talent, will be a big asset to us."

He added: "As well as stopping goals, Kyran has also been getting a reputation of scoring them in recent seasons."
During a curtailed Covid season when he was last with the Blues in 2019/20, Kyran made 21 appearances and netted one goal. He made his debut for Leiston coming on as a substitute at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
So, a big welcome return to Kyran, from everyone at Victory Road.
Meanwhile, the Blues are preparing for a home double-header of pre-season friendlies this week, with Braintree Town the opponents at Victory Road on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
And there's another exciting fixture on Thursday evening when Ipswich Town are sending an U-21 team to Victory Road to play the Blues (7.30pm).
Admission for both games is £6 adults, £4 concessions, £2 under-16s.
