Midfielder Joe Marsden has reached 100 league appearances after Saturday’s match at home to Tamworth. ‘Marso’ was voted man of the match after netting the winner just 35 seconds into the second period, after also scoring a 90th minute goal against Wroxham a couple of weeks ago in the FA Trophy.
Joe becomes the 34th player to reach 100 league game milestone since the Blues became a Step 6 club in 2001. There are two players to net over 100 league goals in that time, with Lee McGlone claiming 112 and Gareth Heath 103.
