LEISTON are pleased to announce the signing of former Ipswich Town player Fraser Alexander.

Alexander played in Leiston’s final pre-season game at Bury Town and has now put pen to paper for Leiston.

The 21-year-old midfielder was at Ipswich Town as a youngster between 2011 and 2022 and made one appearance for the first team as a substitute in the EFL Trophy match against Northampton in August 2022.

He also played for Cheshunt in the 2022/2023 campaign, playing 36 times overall and scoring twice. Last season he played for Bishop’s Stortford in the National League North, making 26 league appearances.

While in the Academy at Ipswich Town, Alexander captained the U18 side.
