Leiston U23’s went down 4-0 at home to Anglian Combination side Beccles Town in their final friendly match ahead of the 2024/2025 campaign.

The Blues played well in the first half but went in a goal down ant the interval and Beccles scored three quick goals in the second period as the away side went away with victory.

The U23’s did win two out of their four friendly games, however, and can now look forward to a trip to Diss Town on Tuesday 30th July (7.45pm kick off) in their first league game of the season.

The side have two home games after their opener as first Haverhill Borough (Saturday 3rd August) and then Framlingham Town (Tuesday 6th August) both visit.
