The first half lacked any real chances but in the second half Leiston played better, and Finlay Barnes opened the scoring on 57 minutes after jinxing past three away defenders before slotting into Casey’s bottom right hand corner.

The win sees Leiston finish on 85 points from 42 league games, and end with a goal difference of +37, in third place. It is the club’s highest ever finish in the club’s 143 year history.
