It will be Billy's third spell with the club. After initially signing at the end of the 2022/2023 season, he made a single substitute appearance in the 1-0 home victory over Hednesford Town on the last day of the season, he played three times in the second half of last season.

Billy started his career at Beccles Town whilst he also play at Norwich United as a youngster before joining Norwich City where he stayed for until 2020. He then signed for League Two Stevenage and made his professional debut in the club’s 3-2 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons. Billy also has experience in the National League where he has appeared for Braintree Town and Gloucester City. Last season as well as Leiston, Billy appeared for Kettering Town and Wroxham.
