BLUES' Ben Batho has put pen to paper and signed a contract at the Club.
The versatile youngster, who has come through the ranks at Victory Road from EJA, U18s and the Club's College programmes, signed his new deal alongside first-team boss Chris Wigger on Monday after Ben helped the side to a 2-0 win over Royston Town.
Leiston's Director of football, Dave Williams, said: "It's great to see Ben commit to the Club.
"He is a level-headed, dedicated young man who is versatile and comfortable on both the left and right. He has good technique and is adapting fast to the physical challenges that he faces in the Southern League.
"He is also a good listener and it's all of these traits that have impressed the senior coaching staff."
Congratulations to Ben from all at the Club.
The Blues now turn their attentions to Saturday, with an FA Cup clash against Waltham Abbey at Victory Road, kick-off 3pm.
