The Blues drew 1-1 at Alvechurch this afternoon as they remained in 8th place.
Ismael Fatadjo’s goal on 18 minutes put Leiston in the lead and Chris Wigger’s side had more chances in the first half but couldn’t get a second goal as they were on top.
Daniel Sweeney’s equaliser on 57 minutes from long range made it hard for Leiston to re-take the lead and although sub Kyran Clements nearly scored another late winner, the Blues had to settle for a point.
Thanks to the Blues supporters who travelled today, in front of an attendance of 282 in Worcestershire.
Leiston now host Bedford Town next weekend in their next league game (3pm kick off).
