London based midfielder Adeyinka Cole has left Victory Road after half a season. Ade arrived from Grays Athletic in December and soon slotted in well to the squad, producing some confident displays none more so than the final game of the season at Enfield Town where he deservedly claimed the Man of the Match award. Unfortunately changes to travel arrangements has meant Ade has decided to remain more local to London and he looks set to return to Grays Athletic.
Manager Glenn Driver said the following on Ade's departure;
"Unfortunately Ade doesn't drive and is a school teacher so he struggled at times last season with the distance. He would car share with Niko and as Niko had also departed, his options of getting to Leiston were even worse. Ade is a great player and was starting to become a strong member of the squad, losing him came out of the blue and I am disappointed to be losing such a young and gifted player. I understand and respect his decision to play more local and thank him for his professionalism and I wish him all the best for the future."
All at Leiston Football Club would like to thank Ade for his excellent efforts and wish him all the best for the future.
