The Blues have completed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Ashlee Jones. The former Southampton keeper had a fine season last term at National League North Lowestoft Town and managed an impressive 25 clean sheets. A member of the Southampton side that reached the FA Youth Cup in 2005, Ashlee also lists Rushden and Diamonds and Crawley Town as former clubs as well of course, Canvey Island and Lowestoft Town. Ashlee made his Blues debut in the 1-1 at Canvey Island on Tuesday evening.
